Joseph Valles

New Bedford – Joseph L. Valles, age 101, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023 at New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home with his loving family by his side and was the loving husband of the late Edith (Teixeira) Valles.

Joseph was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Julius Valles and Julia (Lomba) Valles. He served proudly in the United States Army until his honorable discharge, then worked for many years with the Polaroid company as a personal Administrator.

Joseph is survived by his son, Vincent Valles of New Bedford; two grandchildren, Jared Valles of Fairhaven and Brandi Joaquin of Fairhaven; and his sister, Maria De Andrade of Port St. Lucy, Florida; as well as two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Joseph's visiting hours will be held at Perry Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 5th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with his services to take place during this time, followed by his burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Bedford at 1:00 PM.
