Dolores Costa

Fairhaven - COSTA, Dolores E. of Fairhaven, MA, passed away on May 15, 2023, in Fairhaven, MA. She was born in New Bedford, MA, the daughter of Walter J. and Mary Costa. She is survived by Robert Costa and his wife, Mary-Anne Costa of Dartmouth, MA and Thomas Costa and his wife, Claire Costa of Bradenton, FL and five nephews and a niece. Dolores worked in the banking profession in the New Bedford, MA area for a number of years. She previously resided in New Bedford, MA, Tempe, AZ, and South Dartmouth, MA prior to her passing in Fairhaven, MA.

Dolores’s closest friend was her cat, Sweetie, who she loved for many years, passing away prior to Dolores’ death.

The family would like to say a special word of thanks to the staff at The Royal of Fairhaven, MA. She was blessed to have everyone at her final home who was involved in her comfort and care.

The family would like to offer another special thank you to Southcoast Visiting Nurse Association for hospice services that provided peaceful end of life care.

A private graveside service is scheduled for June 9, 2023, at the South Dartmouth Cemetery, South Dartmouth, MA.
