Lucy (Reis) Almeida

Dartmouth – Lucy (Reis) Almeida, age 78, of Dartmouth, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at home with her loving family by her side.

Lucy was born in St. Michael, to the late Luis Moniz Reis, Sr. and Mariana Conceicao Reis. She had been a hairdresser at Hair In Motion for many years.

Lucy is survived by her son, Mark Almeida; her partner of 47 years, Jose DaSilva; her stepdaughter, Victoria DaSilva; sisters. Fatima Delgado, Maria Pacheco, Miquelina Fonseca and Cecelia Junier; brothers, Jose Reis, Luis Reis, Americo Reis and George Reis; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass for Lucy with her cremains will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at St. Mary's Church Dartmouth at 10:00 A.M. All attendees are kindly asked to meet directly at the church.
