Carmen (Acevedo) Roldan

New Bedford – Carmen Roldan, age 85, of Fairhaven, passed away after a brief and courageous battle with cancer on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Hathaway Manor with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Alfredo Roldan.

She was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and had been a loving homemaker to her family throughout the years.

Carmen is survived by her daughter, Maria Carrascoza and son-in-law Ramiro Carrascoza. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Anahiz Carrascoza, Camila Carrascoza and Dayanara Carrascoza; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Carmen’s visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Her funeral will take place on Thursday at the funeral home for 10:00 A.M. with a service at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery.
