Lemuel Soto, Jr.

New Bedford – Lemuel Soto, Jr., age 49, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at home peacefully.

He was born in New Britain, Connecticut to Adelina (Gomes) Teixeira and the late Lemuel Soto, Sr. He had worked at Stepping Stones as a Recovery Specialist. Lemuel was also a professional guitar player and singer as well.

He is survived by his mother, Adelina Teixeira; his son, Giovanni Lemuel Soto; granddaughter, Natalie Rose Soto; sister, Raquel Velez and her husband Raul; stepmother, Providencia Rivera and her husband Danny; nephews, Caleb Negron, Curtis Perry lll, Sir Manning and a niece, Brianna Detres.

Lemuel’s visiting hours and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Perry Funeral Home. Visiting hours will take place from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. with a service to be held at 12:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
