Marilia A. (Da Silva) Bastiao

New Bedford – Marilia A. (da Silva) Bastiao, age 85, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Graca Bastiao.

Marilia was born in Ilhavo, Portugal to the late Jose Fernandes da Silva and Maria (Gomes) da Silva. She had moved to the United States in 1974 and had been a loving homemaker over the years.

She is survived by her daughter, Eugenia Goncalves and her husband Manuel E. Goncalves; her grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Marilia’s funeral services were held privately.
