Julianne A. (Abbott) Medeiros

New Bedford – Julianne A. (Abbott) Medeiros, age 79, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert D. Medeiros.

Julianne was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Elbert Walker Abbott and Evelyn M. (Ward) Abbott. She had been a Media Specialist in the New Bedford Public School Department for many years.

She is survived by her sister, Lynda Perkins of Westport MA; her son, Kevin Medeiros and his wife Erin Medeiros of West Warwick RI, and her grandchildren, Conner Medeiros and his wife Madeline Medeiros of Acushnet, Max Medeiros of New Bedford and Mya Medeiros of Las Vegas Nevada; her son, Kraig Medeiros and his wife Alison Medeiros of Dighton MA and her grandsons, Alec and Cole; her son, Kory Medeiros and his wife Shannon Medeiros of New Bedford and granddaughter, Molly Virginia Medeiros.

A Memorial Mass with cremains will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church at 10:00 A.M. All attendees are kindly asked to meet directly at the church.
