Dale (Souza) Vieira

New Bedford – Dale (Souza) Vieira, age 69, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Mass General Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of David Vieira.

Dale was born in Acushnet, MA to the late Edward P. Souza and Francis (Oliver) Souza. She had worked as a Paraprofessional for the New Bedford Public School System over the years.

She is survived by her husband, David Vieira; her sister Linda Costa, and husband Joe Costa; her daughter, Elizabeth Couto and her husband Nelson; her son, Adam Vieira and his fiancé Shayna Rodriguez; 4 grandchildren, Zachary Couto and his partner Paige Soares, Olivia Couto, Noah Couto and Kamryn Vieira; 2 great-grandchildren, Peighton Couto and Brady Couto; her niece, Melissa Fidalgo and nephew, Philip Costa. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Christine Moriarty and Derek Vieira and her step-grandchildren, Kyle Vieira, Madison Vieira and Jamison Moriarty.

A memorial for Dale will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Perry Funeral Home from 10:00A.M. - 1:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time.
