Luis Rodriguez Moro

New Bedford – Luis Antonio Rodriguez Moro, age 81, of New Bedford, MA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 22, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Carmen Lydia Perez Rivera. Luis was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to the late Teodoro Rodriguez and Paula Moro. He had worked in the shipping department for New England Plastics & Continental Screw Corporation for many years.

He loved singing, watching the Red Sox, the New England Patriots and attending Church at The Christian Revival Temple on 844 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford, MA 02740. Luis, most importantly, loved spending time with his family.

Luis is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Lydia Rodriguez; his children, Bernice Flores, Richard Rodriguez Sr., Christina Feliciano and Marie Marrero; his grandchildren, Erica Flores, Eric Flores, Alexander Flores, Stephanie Relle, Richard Rodriguez Jr., Tabitha Rodriguez, Caleb Rodriguez, Annalise Cordero, Davian Cruz and Jaydalyse Marrero; his great-grandchildren, Anaiah Martinez, Misael Martinez, Aiden Flores, Ethan Flores, Kalel Relle, Konel Relle and Kiara Relle; and his siblings, Angel Luis Rodriguez, Aida Rodriguez and Julio Rodriguez.

He was predeceased by his late brother Santos Rodriguez and Felicita Rodriguez Moro.

Luis’s visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 29th. Visitation hours will be held from 10:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. with a service to be held at 12:30 P.M. Followed by a burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
