Maria Madeira

Maria Alexandria Madeira age 96 passed away on December 20th unexpectedly. She was the beloved wife of late Antonio Madeira. She was born in Agua De Pau, St. Michael Azores.

She was known for telling her funny anecdotes, and jokes. She was a member of Mount Carmel Church and loved going every Sunday. She loved having her decaf coffee. One thing about her though is there was nothing she loved more than her family and spending time with them, of course not forgetting all of Marias fur-grandbabies she loved so much.

Maria is survived by her son Carlos Madeira and his wife Ana, Son in law Alcides Pires, Her granddaughter Susan Curado and husband Paul, granddaughter Stephanie Pires and her boyfriend Jeff Buonassisi, great grandson Cameron Curado, and many more nieces, nephews, and remaining family.

Maria was predeceased by her daughter, the late Ana Pires.

Maria’s Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 27th, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Perry Funeral Home. Her funeral will be on Wednesday, December 28th, beginning at 9:00 A.M. in the funeral home and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady at Mount Carmel Church at 10:00AM. Burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery.
