Dartmouth – Noelia (Da Silva) Eugenio, age 85, of Dartmouth, MA, passed away at home on Saturday, October 8, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Carlos M. Eugenio, Sr.

Noelia was born in Faial, Azores, Portugal and was the beloved daughter of the late Joao Joaquim Da Silva and Maria Garcia (Da Rosa) Da Silva. She had worked as a seamstress at several clothing and pocketbook manufacturers over the years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she also loved gardening and her flowers.

Noelia is survived by her daughter, Diane Mikell and her husband Kevin; grandchildren, Marissa Miranda and her husband Daniel, Alysha Silva and her husband Joshua, Brittany De Medeiros and Lindsey Landry and her husband Craig; 8 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Maria Leonore Medeiros, Maria Arlinda Andrade and Manuel Joaquim Da Silva; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Carlos Eugenio Jr. and sister of the late Maria Hortense Soares and Maria Margarida Corte-Real.

Noelia’s visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Her funeral will take place on Thursday, beginning in the funeral home at 8:00 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
