Antonio Cabral

New Bedford – Antonio Cabral, aged 85, of New Bedford, MA, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 200 at Care One Skilled Nursing Facility. He was the beloved husband of the late Eduarda (Silva) Cabral.

Antonio was born in St. Michael, Azores and was the beloved son of the late Manuel Soares and Amelia (Augusta) Soares. He had worked for Carol Cable for many years.

Antonio is survived by his son, Antonio Edward Cabral and his wife Michelle; daughter, Elizabeth Leal and her husband Joe; 4 grandchildren, Michael Leal, Mark Leal, Zachary Cabral and Jessica Cabral; 3 great-grandchildren, Michael Leal, Jr., Elizabeth Rosalie Cabraldo and Xavier Azevedo.

He was predeceased by his late siblings, Humberto Cabral, Jose Jacinto Cabral, Manuel Soares, Jardilina Ribeiro and Jilberta Raposo.

Antonio’s visiting hours and funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. His visiting hours take place from 9:30 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 11:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
