>New Bedford – Olive (Joseph) Gouveia passed away Wednesday May 17, 2006 at St. Lukes Hospital after a brief Illness. She was the wife of the late Manuel Gouveia who passed away Oct. 16, 2005 Survivors include a Daughter Beverly Pereira of E. Freetown, a Son David R. Gouveia of New Bedford, 2 Sisters Elsie Sylvia of New Bedford and Anna Silva of E. Providence 3 Brothers Edward Joseph of Meriden,CT Alfred Joseph of New Bedford and Antone Joseph of San Diego, CA. 9 Grandchildren, Several Greatgrandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews, Deceased Sons Frank and Robert Vaughan, Deceased Siblings Albert Joseph, Deolinda Gonsalves and Mary Netinho.

Mrs. Gouveia was born in New Bedford a Daughter of the late Antone and Conceicao (Martin)Joseph. Her Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Quadalupe Parish at St. James Church Friday at 10 AM Visiting hours will be from 5 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday May 17, 2006.
