Steven Michael Cordeiro

New Bedford – Steven Michael Cordeiro, age 71, of West Wareham, MA passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Susan Elizabeth (Smith) Cordeiro.

Steven was born in New Bedford, MA and was the beloved son of the late Michael Cordeiro and Olivia (Simmons) Cordeiro. He had worked as an assembler of CPR machines for Brunswick BioMedical Technology.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Cordeiro; son, Michael Cordeiro and his wife Daphney; daughter, Corey Perreira and her husband Robert Harrison, Jr.; grandchildren, Jacob Cordeiro, Joshua Cordeiro, Juliet Cordeiro, Joseph Cordeiro, Jonathan Cordeiro, Justin Cordeiro, James Cordeiro and Jackson Cordeiro; Robert J. Harrison III and Cole Harrison. He is also survived by his siblings, Susan Gonsalves, Mark Cordeiro and his wife Deborah, Mary-Alice Sylvia and her husband Eric; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Steven enjoyed fishing, playing guitar for his family and friends and growing his favorite plants. He was intelligent, witty, extremely generous, kind and loving. He was beloved by his family and friends who will miss him dearly and are eternally grateful to have had him in their lives.

Services for Steven will be held privately.
