Alda (Mendes) Pinho

New Bedford – Alda (Mendes) Pinho, age 96, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio A. Pinho.

Alda was born in Setubal, Portugal and was the loved daughter of the late Custodia Mendes. She had been a loving homemaker to her family over the years. Alda loved to knit, crochet, cook, tend her garden and especially, loved her pets.

She is survived by her 4 children, Maria Pinho Lourenco and her husband John, Luis A. Pinho and his wife Sharon, Tony J. Pinho and Anna M. Pinho; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle, Melissa, Cory and Alexander and her great-grandchildren, Sara, Jacob, Ryan, Liam and Emma.

Alda’s funeral services were private.
