Hilda (August) Mano

Fall River – Hilda (August) Mano, age 102, of Fall River and formerly of Westport, MA, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center. She was the beloved wife of the late John Mano.

Hilda was born in Dartmouth, MA and was the loved daughter of the late Manuel August and Mary (Souza) August. She had been a loving homemaker to her family throughout the years.

Hilda is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Ledoux of Tampa, FL, Carol Ann Rode of Grays Lake, IL, Judith Dias of Ponte Vedra, FL and Mary Lou Mano of New Bedford; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and her sister, Lillian August of New Bedford.

She was predeceased by her late daughter, Sandra Ann Mano and her late brother, Arthur August.
