Janice A. (Morency) Oliveria

Fall River – Janice A. (Morency) Oliveria, age 71, of Dartmouth, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late John Oliveria.

Janice was born in New Bedford, MA and was the beloved daughter of Victor Morency and Elizabeth (Brown) Morency. She had worked as an LPN for 50 plus years at both Brandon Woods and Forest View Nursing Homes until her retirement.

She also enjoyed running her family business, Trader Jan’s Archery Pro-Shop up until her daughter, Jill took it over. Janice loved camping, Bingo, traveling and especially loved her dogs.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Jill A. Oliveria; a niece, Jennifer Houghton; 2 nephews, John Wheeler and Kenneth Wheeler and her sister-in-law, Beverly A. Wheeler.

Janice’s visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening, June 2, 2022 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Her funeral will take place Friday, in the funeral home, beginning at 11:30 A.M. with a service to be held at 12:30 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
