Sandra J. (Wright) Custer

New Bedford – Sandra J. (Wright) Custer, age 80, of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard Thorpe.

Sandra was born in Barnstable, MA and was the beloved daughter of Parker Wright and Edwina Delight (Blossom) Wright. Sandra had been a member of the Air National Guard and later had worked as a horse breeder at the Custer’s Last Stand Ranch.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Shari Lynne Manchester and her granddaughter, Sasha Walley.

Sandra’s funeral arrangements are private.
