Bianor C. (Jacome) Travassos

Fairhaven – Bianor C. (Jacome) Travassos, age 88, of Fairhaven, MA, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Alden Court Nursing Care & Rehabilitation. She was the beloved wife of the late Francisco S. Travassos.

Bianor was born in Livramento, Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, and was the loved daughter of the late Joao Jacome and Georgina (Pereira) Jacome. She had worked as a stitcher for various local clothing manufacturers over the years.

Bianor is survived by her three children, John Travassos and his wife Candi, Paula Marshall and her husband David and Ana Foskey and her husband Bruce; four grandchildren, Joshua Travassos, Meaghan Travassos, Ross Marshall and Ellen Marshall; one great-grandson, Cameron David Marshall; brother, Fernando Jacome; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bianor’s visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Her funeral will take place Thursday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
