Alfred 'Allie' Pacheco

Florida - Alfred Pacheco, age 90, of Florida and formerly of New Bedford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at his assisted living facility home in Delray Beach, Florida. He was the loving husband of sixty-eight years to Dorothy (Costa) Pacheco.

Born and raised in New Bedford, "Allie", served in the United States Navy from 26-Sep-1951-to 22-Sep-1955. He then was employed by the City of New Bedford Public Works Department for twenty years. He retired from his position with the city and relocated with Dorothy to Delray Beach to be with his family.

Alfred was a good man, a good father, and a good grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; his daughter, Donna (Pacheco) Benedetto; son, Gary Pacheco; son, Thomas Pacheco and grandsons, Collin Pacheco and Bryson Pacheco.

His graveside service and burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 12:45 P.M. in Rural Cemetery.
