Ricardo Alvira

Rhode Island – Ricardo Alvira, age 53, of New Bedford, MA, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Zenaida (Sanchez) Alvira.

Ricardo was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was the loved son of Felipe Alvira and Agudelia (Benetiz) Alvira. He had worked as a truck driver for ABC Disposal Co. over the years.

He is survived by his wife Zenaida Alvira; his parents, Felipe Alvira and Agudelia Benetiz; his children, Jorge Alvira, Alice Alvira, Ricardo Alvira and Mason Alvira; a grandchild, Jaden Alvira; siblings, Miseal Alvira, Migdalia Alvira, Felix Alvira, William Alvira and Jose Alfredo Alvira; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Ricardo’s visiting hours and funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Perry Funeral Home. His visiting hours will take place from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M with a service to take begin at 11:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
