Barbara A. (Venancio) St. Pierre

New Bedford MA-Barbara A. St. Pierre died May 3, 2006 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was the wife Alfred J. St. Pierre for 43 wonderful years. She was the mother of Jane Nilsen and her husband Mark of Dartmouth, and the late Daryl St. Pierre. She was the loved grandmother of Monica St. Pierre, Raeann Nilsen, and Hailey Tetreault. She was the sister of Donald Venancio of Brockton, MA., and the late Robert Venancio. She was also survived by her Godmother Marion Oliver of New Bedford, and several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and very close friends.

Mrs. St. Pierre was the daughter of the late Elsie (Ponte) Venancio. She was born in New Bedford and lived in Dartmouth since 1977. She worked as a Director of Lease Administration for the past 16 years for the company Designs Inc. now Casual Male. She graduated from Kinyon Campbell Business School and went on to be very successful.

In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated.

A memorial service will take place Tuesday May 9, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. with visiting hours starting at 9 A.M. Interment of cremains will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Fairhaven.
