Joao De Pina

New Bedford – Joao De Pina age 77, of New Bedford, MA, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the loved fiancé of Melvina A. Santos.

Joao was born in Brava, Cape Verde Island and was the beloved son of the late Manuel Semedo and Benvina De Pina. He loved to cook, watch Wrestling and going out with friends.

Joao is survived by his fiancé, Melvina A. Santos; 2 sons, Zachary A. De Pina and Lawrence A. De Pina; granddaughter, Zaylin De Pina; siblings, Jose Pina Semedo, Antonio Semedo and Ana De Pina; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Joao’s visiting hours and service will be held on Monday evening, April 25, 2022 at Perry Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be held from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time. Cremation to follow.
