Hermano M. Pereira

Milton – Hermano M. Pereira, age 84, of Dartmouth, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Brush Hill Care Center in Milton, MA. He was the beloved husband of Julieta L. (Tavares) Pereira.

Hermano was born in Agua de Pau, Sao Miguel, Azores and was the loved son of the late Manuel Pereira Medeiros and Maria do Carmo (Rebelo) Medeiros. He had been employed as a presser for Kay Windsor and Elco Dress Company. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Hermano is survived by his wife, Julieta Pereira; two daughters, Lucy Distefano of Dartmouth and Elizabeth Gendron and her husband Robert of Westport; grandchildren, Tyler A. Distefano of Dartmouth, Connor and Ella Gendron of Westport; a sister, Angelina Medeiros; as well as 3 nephews and 1 niece.

Hermano’s visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral will take place Saturday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church Dartmouth at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
