Rosemarie B. (Pereira) Silva

New Bedford – Rosemarie B. (Pereira) Silva, age 59, of New Bedford passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Octavio Silva.

Rosemarie was born in New Bedford, MA and was the loved daughter of the late Maria (Borges) Pereira and the late John Pereira. She had worked as a Personal care Attendant in the healthcare field for many years. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and also loved going to the beach.

She is survived by her husband, Octavio; her 2 children, Cheryl Soto and her husband Cameron and Kayla Duggan and her companion, Darin Cambra; 2 grandchildren, Blake Lee Garcia and Carter Michael Duggan; her brother, Jeffrey Pereira and his wife Jennifer; nieces, Natasha Hernandez and Selina Pereira; nephew, John Raposo Jr.; her aunt, Maria Ledo and her best friend whom she thought of and loved as a “sister”, Jennifer DaSilva.

She was predeceased by her late sister, Judith Pereira.

A memorial service for Rosemarie will be held on Tuesday March 8, 2022 from 5-7 P.M.at Perry Funeral Home.
