Francisco Vargas, Jr.

New Bedford – Francisco Vargas, Jr., age 42, of New Bedford passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Francisco was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and was the beloved son of Francisco Vargas, Sr. and Nancy Olmo. He had worked as a delivery driver.

He is survived by his parents, Francisco Vargas, Sr. and Nancy Olmo; daughters, Jasmine and Ariana; brothers, Abdul Hassan Vargas, Alexis Vargas and Ricardo Vargas; nieces and nephews, Abdul Hassan, Neylani Avyana, Avery, Jaeleana and Jahdari; his fiancé Jenny DaSilva and her children, Aiden and Mia.

Francisco’s visiting hours will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral will take place on Thursday morning in the funeral home, beginning at 9:00 A.M. with a service to be held at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
