Robert William Leonardo

New Bedford – Robert William Leonardo, age 56, of New Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Robert was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Gilbert Leonardo and Bessie (Baker) Leonardo. He had worked for the City of New Bedford as a custodian for many years. He loved race cars and especially loved riding motorcycles.

He is survived by his daughter, Kayleigh R. Leonardo; his siblings, Cheryl Sampson, Steven Leonardo, Michael Leonardo and Patricia Pereira; as well as his nephew, Gilly Leonardo.

Robert’s funeral services were privately held on Friday, January 28, 2022.
