Blanche E. (Callier) Barros

New Bedford – Blanche E. (Callier) Barros, age 77, of New Bedford, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Roger Barros.

Blanche was born in Hericourt, France to the late Jules Callier and Yvonne (Seguer) Callier. She had worked as a presser for Clean Rentals for many years.

Blanche is survived by her husband, Roger Barros; daughter, Denise Ponte; granddaughters, Jodie Ponte, Tracy Ponte, Dylan Ponte and Nicole Ponte; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Sherman, Leilani Ponte and Nevaeh Ponte; 3 siblings, Rosemary Marote, Charles Callier, Maurice Callier and daughter-in-law, Tracy Callier.

She was predeceased by her late son, Daniel Callier and her late brother, Michael Callier.

Blanche’s memorial service will be held together with her late husband Roger on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time.
