Elaine (Medeiros) Dos Santos

New Bedford – Elaine (Medeiros) dos Santos, age 88, of New Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Mario dos Santos.

Elaine was born in New Bedford, MA to the late George Medeiros and Maria Gloria (Cordeiro) Medeiros. She had worked 47 years at St. Luke’s Hospital as a medical transcriptionist.

She is survived by her son, George M. dos Santos and his wife Megan; grandsons, Thomas dos Santos and Joseph dos Santos; as well as her sister, Arlene M. George.

Elaine’s visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. Her funeral will take place on Saturday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 8:00 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church 9:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
