Janice F. (Cabral) Barboza

Dartmouth - Janice F. (Cabral) Barboza, age 85, passed away peacefully at home with family on Thursday, December 30, 2021.

Daughter to the late Americo F. and Olive P. Cabral, wife to the late Ronald Barboza, mother to the late Gary D. Barboza, and sister to the late Jimmy Cabral.

Mrs. Barboza was born in New Bedford, MA. She served her country as a member of United States Army in 1954. Mrs. Barboza loved to cook. She cooked in the Army and at local schools for many years. She loved her bus trips to the casino, and listening to live music. She was a lover of sports, especially the Boston Red Sox.

Mrs. Barboza is survived by her son Ronald (Scott) Barboza and his wife Lisa, son Peter Pina, grandchildren Ethen, Nicole, Carly, Mathew, Jessica, and Melissa, brother Thomas Cabral and his wife Paula.

A memorial service for Janice will be held on Thursday February 3, 2022 at St. Mary's Church Dartmouth at 10:00 A.M. with her cremains. All attendees are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial of her cremains will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
