Alfredo C. Furtado Jr.

New Bedford MA- Alfredo C. Furtado Jr died Sunday April 23, 2006 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Joann (Costa) Furtado. Mr. Furtado was the father of Jared Furtado of New Bedford, Chad Furtado of Las Vegas. He was the brother of Lena wife of Donald Cosme of Dartmouth, Benny husband of Louise Furtado of Fairhaven. He was a brother-in-law of Joseph P. Costa of New Bedford. Brother of the late Ernest, John Furtado and Louise Medeiros. He also had Several Nieces and Nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Furtado was the son of Rose (Santos) Furtado of New Bedford and of the late Alfredo C. Furtado Sr. He born on St. Michael, Azores, Portugal. He was a presser at CDS Factory.

A Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. on Wednesday April 26, 2006. Followed by the burial at St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting Hours are on Tuesday April 25, 2006 5to 9 at the Perry Funeral Home.
