Albertina (Paiva) Goncalves

New Bedford – Albertina (Paiva) Goncalves, age 63 of New Bedford passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at The Oaks. She was the wife of the late Albon Garcia.

Born in Terceira, Azores, she was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur Paiva and Maria (Sousa) Paiva. Albertina had been a private care taker for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going dancing with her friends

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Paiva; 2 sisters, Cremilde Costa and Maria Guay; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her late sister Henriqueta Paiva.

A Memorial Service for Albertina will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Perry Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be held from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time.
