Olga (Ferreira) Rice

New Bedford – Olga (Ferreira) Rice, age 98 of New Bedford passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Hathaway Manor. Born in New Bedford, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Maria Adelina (Rebello) Ferreira. She was also the loving friend of the late August Lopes.

Olga is survived by her siblings, Alice Bernardo and Janet Macedo; her nephew, John Wahnon; as well as many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was the sister of the late Hilda Wahnon, Lillian Santos, Louise Pina, Manuel Ferreira, Henriquetta Lopes, Amelia Howard and Antonio Ferreira.

Olga’s visiting hours will be held on Tuesday evening, November 16, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. Her funeral will be on Wednesday, in the funeral home, beginning at 10:00 A.M. with a service to take place at 11:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
