Robert 'Bob' Morris

New Bedford - Robert "Bob" Morris, age 58 of New Bedford passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of Robert and Rita Morris.

Bob graduated from Bishop Stang in 1981 then went on to study computer programming at Kinyon Campbell School of Business. He started working at Raytheon in 1984 as a temp and worked his way up to be a very well- respected Project Analyst. He remained a loyal employee there until his retirement earlier this year. He loved watching the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Bob is survived by his brother-in-law, Russell Lavoie Sr., nephew, Russell Lavoie Jr., niece Rebecca Fuentes, godsons, Russel Lavoie lll and Wayne Perkins Jr., lifelong friend Wayne Perkins and several childhood friends that he considered family.

Bob will be honored in a viewing at Perry’s Funeral Home located at 111 Dartmouth St. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM followed by a burial at Saint John’s Cemetery on Allen St., and a lunch celebration of life at Top Shelf Bar and Grill.
