Edmund S. Vaz

Dartmouth-Edmund S. Vaz died April 14, 2006 after a brief illness, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Irene (De Mello) Vaz to whom he was married for 58 years. He was the father of Robert E. husband of Judit, Randall P., Ryan M. husband of Donna Vaz. They all live in Dartmouth, MA. He was the father of the late Rhett A. Vaz. He was the brother of Caroline Aurelio of Dartmouth, MA. He was also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 3 Nephews.

Mr. Vaz was the son of the late Carmen F. (Martins) and Joaquim Santos Vaz. He was born in New Bedford, and lived in Dartmouth most of his life. He was a loom fixer at Berkshire Hathaway for 20 years. He then went to work as a tool cutter at Morse Cutting Tools for 21 years were he retired from.

In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated.
