Michael Melo

Boston – Michael Melo, age 50 of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Tufts Medical Center. Born in New Bedford, MA he was the beloved son of John I. Melo and Maria O. (Sarmento) Melo.

Michael loved working on cars and enjoyed fishing.

Michael is survived by his parents, John and Maria Melo; 2 children, Siena R. Melo and Melina A. Melo; his sister, Karen Melo Ticas and her husband Walter; his fiancé, Luisa De Sousa; Niece Mariana Ticas as well as several cousins.

A Celebration of Michael's Life with his cremains will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Perry Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time.
