Joshua "Noogie" Ventura

New Bedford - Joshua “Noogie” Ventura, age 29 of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in New Bedford, MA he was the beloved son of Nella M. Ventura and the late Humberto DeMelo.

Joshua had been employed at a local fish house over the years. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed more than words can say.

Joshua is survived by his mother, Nella Ventura; sister, Felicia Ventura and her husband Khai Rivera; his nephew and niece, Khai Rivera, Jr. and Londyn Rivera; his grandparents, Jose and Clementina Ventura; his aunt and godmother, Suzie Ventura; his uncle and aunt, Joseph and Natalina Ventura; his aunt and uncle, Joanne Ventura and Joshua Trommenschlager; his many loved cousins and his grandparents on the DeMelo side.

Joshua’s funeral services were held privately.
