Christian Noel Aka Boogie Andrews

New Bedford - Christian Noel Andrews aka “Boogie", 72, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, after a valiant battle with cancer.

He was born on December 25, 1949, to the late Manny and Priscilla Andrews of Marion, MA.

Christian was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Marksmanship Badge and Pistol Sharpshooter Badge.

He is survived by his wife Denise Andrews of New Bedford, his brothers, Emanuel (Bobby) Andrews, John Andrews, the late David Andrews, Ray Andrews and Frank Andrews. Also survived by his sisters, Darla Singletary, Sheila Mattos, the late Diane Andrews, Marlene Andrews, Najla Nuri and Tina Andrews; his daughter Candida Pina and grandchildren, Jevin, Jordan and Alyssa.

Funeral services were held at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, MA., on Monday, September 27, 2021.

Burial ceremony was held at Massachusetts National Cemetery adjacent to the Otis Air Force Base, Connery Avenue in Bourne, MA.
