Rhonda (Denison) Leandre

New Bedford – Rhonda (Denison) Leandre, age 68, of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at her home.
Rhonda was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Joyce (Hughes) Denison and the late Horace Denison. She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Samaritan Home Health.

Rhonda is survived by her four children, Ken and his wife Shelley of S. Dennis, MA, Paula and her wife Lori, Steven and his wife Amy of New Bedford, MA, Brian and his longtime girlfriend Jamie of Wareham, MA; 16 grandchildren, Andrew Leandre, Jessica Paquette, Rebecca Paquette, Melissa Paquette, Kasey Leandre, Jordan Leandre, KayLynne Leandre, Payton Leandre, Tamra Perry, Devyn Leandre, Jaykob Leandre, Lily Leandre, Skylar Leandre, Madisyn Leandre, Izayah Leandre and Chase Leandre; one great-grandson, Hayden Leandre; her 2 brothers, Horace Denison Jr and Rodney Denison and her sister, Halene Krus; 4 stepdaughters and 2 stepsons. Several step grandchildren; as well as several nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by a sister, Sandra J. Denison; a brother, Stuart Denison and a stepson, Jimmy Leandre.

Rhonda’s visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time. Burial will be private.
