Paula Goulart Lucas

Boston – Paula Goulart Lucas, age 47, of New Bedford, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Fernando G. Lucas.

Paula was born in Pico, Azores to Noemia Soares Goulart and the late David Goulart. She had been a loving homemaker to her family over the years.

Paula is survived by her husband, Fernando; her mother, Noemia; 2 children, Jenessa Lucas and Caryn Lucas; siblings, Maggie Castanguay, Manuel S. Goulart, Urbano Goulart, Isaura Hazel Goulart, Sandra Venegas and David Goulart; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her late siblings, Suzie Goulart, Mark Goulart, Maria Goulart and Amelia Goulart.

Paula’s visiting hours and funeral service will be held at Perry Funeral Home on Friday, August 27, 2021. Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time. Cremation will follow.
