Fernando E. Ferreira

Portugal – Fernando E. Ferreira, age 74, of Dartmouth, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, in Bunheiro, Murtosa, Portugal. He was the loving husband of Custodia C. (Rodrigues) Ferreira.

Fernando was born in Murtosa, Portugal, to the late Fernando Ferreira and Ana (Vieira) Ferreira. He had been a fisherman for many years.

Fernando is survived by his wife, Custodia; 2 children, Fernando M. Ferreira and Marcia C. Borges and her husband Jose Borges; 4 grandchildren, Alex Borges, Karina Ferreira, Justin Borges and Sophia Ferreira; 2 great-grandchildren, Julian Borges and Adrian Borges. He is also survived by his siblings, Francisco Ferreira, Jose Ferreira, Manuel Ferreira, Maria Vaz and Deolinda Lopes.

He was predeceased by his late brother, John F. Ferreira.

Fernando’s funeral mass with his cremains will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be private. Please check back on our website for the update. All attendees are kindly asked to meet directly at the church.
