Grace Ferreira

New Bedford - Grace Ferreira, age 50, of New Bedford passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.

Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the beloved daughter of the late Jose Ferreira and Maria Isabel (Costa) Ferreira. She had been a loving homemaker to her family and dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Erika Ferreira and fiancé Alex; 2 grandchildren, Rafael and Leandro; 3 brothers, John Ferreira, Frank Ferreira, and Joe Ferreira and his wife Ana. 2 sisters, Lucy Ferreira, and Ana Couto and husband Jose; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Lurdes Laranja, Adriana Dunn, Fatima Ferreira, Eddie Ferreira, Steve Ferreira and Gloria Ferreira and the aunt of the late Cliff Raposo, Bryan Tavares, and Jeffery Ferreira.

Grace’s visiting hours and funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Visiting hours will take place from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home with a service to take place at 12:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
