Antonio M. Pimentel

New Bedford – Antonio M. Pimentel, age 70, of New Bedford passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Maria Fatima (Cabral) Pimentel.

Born in Vila Franca, St. Michael, Azores, he was the beloved son of Ernest Pimentel and Encarnacao (Caboz) Pimentel. He had worked as a scalloper his entire life, up until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; 3 children, Antonio N. Pimentel, Steve C. Pimentel and Nelson Pimentel; several brothers and sisters; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Antonio’s visiting hours and funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Visiting hours will take place from 8:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
