Tyrell Gene Tavares

Attleboro – Tyrell Gene Tavares, age 35, of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. He was the husband of the late Julie (Pascua) Tavares.

Born in New Bedford, MA, he was the beloved son of Richard Gyukeri and Gina (Tavares) Rivera. Tyrell had worked as a tattoo artist for many years.

He is survived by his parents, Richard Gyukeri and Gina Rivera; his children, Jervonie Burr-Tavares and Taevon Tavares; 3 siblings, Deann Gyukeri, Richard Gyukeri Jr. and Teeana Caraballo; grandmothers, Diana Duarte-Comstock and Gloria Tavares; many aunts and uncles; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Tyrell’s visiting hours will take place on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a service to be held during this time. Cremation will follow.
