James S. Lammers

New Bedford – James Lammers, age 73, of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

James was born in New Bedford, MA to Alexander B. Lammers and Nannie G. (Boardley) Lammers. He had worked in the healthcare field and especially loved and enjoyed his time as a basketball referee.

James is survived by his daughters, Kendra Ventura and Kelly Dacey; brothers, Harvey Lammers, and his wife Louise, David Lammers and his wife Anne, the late Earl Lammers and his wife Consola; sisters, Patricia Victor, Edith Lammers and the late Pearl Wixon; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were private.
