Antonio F. Pereira

New Bedford – Antonio F. Pereira, age 63, of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 unexpectedly.

Antonio was born in Sao Roque, Portugal to Manuel Pereira and the late Helena (Branco) Pereira. He worked at a local fish house as a cutter for many years. In his free time, Antonio loved to garden and browse at flea markets.

Antonio is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Pereira; 3 grandchildren, Arianna Rebelo, Aniyah Mendes and Austyn Garcia; his siblings, Madeline Rebelo, Dulce Veiga, Maria Fernanda Mattos, Fatima Pereira, Angela Pina and Connie Furtado; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Antonio’s visiting hours and funeral services will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021. Visiting hours will take place from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time at Perry Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.

All attendees are required by current mandated restrictions to wear a face covering at all times, to social distance 6 feet and to please refrain from any close physical contact. Attendance in the funeral home will be limited in order to meet the mandated capacity restrictions and could result with a wait time outside of the funeral home. Attendance at the cemetery will also be limited in order to meet their mandated capacity restrictions as well. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this time.
