Teena (Vasquez) Santos

New Bedford – Teena L. (Vasquez) Santos, age 56, of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Born in Rockford, Illinois, she was the daughter of Pete Vasquez and Patricia (Alfredson) Friedhof. She loved to watch her children play sports and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Teena is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Nunes and her husband Samuel, sons, Joshua Santos and Cameron Lynch; 7 grandchildren, Casey Costa, Aelani Nunes, Daija Nunes, Nyaisa Nunes, Zakari Nunes, Ethan Santos and Landen Pata; siblings, Kurt Alfredson, Karen Jurasek, Kristin Alfredson-Jackson and her best friend, Susie Pacheco.

She was predeceased by her fiancé, the late Kevin Lynch, Jr., her sister, the late Roxanna Rubert and her adopted parents, the late Ernest and Ruth Alfredson.

Teena’s funeral arrangements were private.
