Helen (Motta) Catin

Dartmouth - Helen (Motta) Catin, aged 80 years, of Dartmouth, died Sunday, March 19, 2006, at home after a long illness. She was the wife of Charles B. Catin and the mother of Sylvia Freidman and Constance Harmic both of Dartmouth and Catherine Hobaica of Mystic, CT. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 2 nephews.

Mrs. Catin was the daughter of the late Sylvanna (Santos) Motta and Manuel Motta. She was a dental assistant for both Dr. Morris Rubin and Dr. William Muldoon. Mrs. Catin loved animals and supported local animal groups, loved knitting for her grandchildren and traveling.

Her Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at the Perry Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Visitng Hours will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 from 4 – 7 P.M. and Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 10 A.M. Burial will take place at St. Johns Cemetery.
