Ernest Perry

New Bedford - Ernest Perry, 72, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at the Fall River Healthcare facility.

Ernest was born in Massachusetts, to the late Pearl Perry (Carr). He was grandfather to his late grandson, Christopher Perry. Ernest experienced family life both in New Bedford, Massachusetts and Cincinnati, Ohio, before returning back to New Bedford, where he would live out the remainder of his life. Ernest enjoyed his time with his two sons by giving them piggy-back rides, making funny voices to make them laugh, and always showing appreciation for their successes and achievements - personal, educational, relationship or career-oriented. He will be remembered for the love of his family, even across great distances.

He is survived by his oldest son, Sean Perry, his youngest son, Matthew Perry, and his beloved sister, Lorraine Perry.
Ernest Perry was cremated, by request of the family. Ernest's ashes will be mixed in with tree soil and planted anew, to become a symbol of strength, like him.

The family would like to thank Karla, Linda, and the loving and caring team of professionals at the Fall River Healthcare facility that took care of Ernest over the years. Their heart, energy and care made such a positive difference in Ernest's life.
