Gilbert "Gilly" Medeiros

New Bedford – Gilbert “Gilly” Medeiros, age 66, of New Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at St Lukes Hospital. He was the beloved companion of the late Rosa Lafferty.
Gilly was born on December 18, 1954 in Acushnet, MA, he was the son of the late Violet “Meme” Medeiros and Gilbert Medeiros.
Gilly’s survivors by his daughters Danielle Medeiros and Amanda Lafferty, a son Gilbert Medeiros, grandsons Javaun, Daniel, Quinn and Noah, also survived by sisters Joyce, Marie, Rose, Susan, Theresa, Donna, Jan, Nancy and a brother Tommy, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Raymond, Wayne and Barbara.
